By accessing or using AccountScope ("the Service"), operated by AccountScope Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

AccountScope is a financial analysis platform that:

  • Processes bank statement PDFs
  • Extracts and categorizes transactions
  • Generates financial reports and summaries
  • Provides analytical tools for accountants and financial professionals

2. Professional Use Only

The Service is intended for use by:

  • Qualified accountants and financial professionals
  • Businesses requiring financial analysis services
  • Individuals with legitimate financial analysis needs

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information.

3. Free Trial and Subscription

3.1 Free Trial

  • New users receive a 14-day free trial
  • No credit card required for trial activation
  • Full access to all features during trial period
  • Trial automatically ends after 14 days unless upgraded

3.2 Paid Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in British Pounds (£)
  • Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime
  • Refunds are issued at our sole discretion

4. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

  • Upload and analyze your own bank statements
  • Upload documents for which you have proper authorization
  • Generate reports for legitimate business purposes
  • Export and save analysis results

❌ Prohibited Uses

  • Upload documents you do not have permission to access
  • Use the Service for money laundering or illegal activities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell or redistribute Service access
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

5. Important Disclaimers

AccountScope is a tool to assist financial analysis. It is NOT:

  • A substitute for professional accounting judgment
  • Legal or financial advice
  • A guarantee of accuracy or completeness
  • Suitable for all financial analysis needs

You are responsible for verifying all outputs and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We are not liable for loss of profits, data, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

6. Account Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Access ends at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial periods
  • Data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted
